Ben Bigney is a spiritual director and hospice chaplain living in the San Francisco Bay Area. A native of Bangor, Maine, Ben moved to the Bay in 2010 to study at Pacific School of Religion. After graduating with his Master of Divinity degree in 2013 he spent a year as a chaplain resident at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco. For the past three years Ben has been serving full-time as a hospice chaplain.
Ben is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, a Dharma Teacher in the Kwan Um School of Zen, and a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. He is working toward completing his certificate in Interfaith Spiritual Direction with The Chaplaincy Institute.
